Ozi Honwana is a dynamic leader in logistics and supply chain management, dedicated to operational excellence and business development. With over 20 years of experience in the logistics industry, he began his career in shipping with Maersk in 2004. Currently serving as the General Manager and Director of Grindrod Logistics Mozambique, Ozi's portfolio includes overseeing mine to port logistics for Syrah Resources graphite operation in Balama. Before the force majeure he managed Grindrod’s oil & gas logistics operations including terminal operations in Nacala, Pemba, and Afungi (EBL and TBL), as well as vessel operations between the three ports. Additionally, he is responsible for transport and C&F operations in Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Ozi Honwana is known for driving and inspiring sustainable transformation in the sector.
